School Clubs

We are very keen to offer after school clubs so that interests and talents can be recognised in a wide range of areas not necessarily associated with the curriculum. The clubs offered are dependent on the interest of the staff. These have included choir, cross country, football, cooking, athletics, construction and badminton. Outside agencies are also employed to offer clubs – such as NT Sports, Spanish, Rock Steady and La Jolie Ronde French.

You will need to register an interest in the after-school clubs in Arbor.

An email will be sent out at the start of each term to confirm the closing date for registering your interest.

Parents will be emailed during the second week back after the holidays to advise whether or not their child has been allocated a place. If your child is not allocated a place, they will remain on the list in case of drop outs. It is important to understand that the clubs will not run on a first come first served basis.

Come rain or shine, we aim to run the clubs every day during each term and clubs which are usually held outside will be held in the hall if it is raining. However, even with best endeavours, teachers may reluctantly need to cancel their club if they have meetings etc to attend and notice will be given.

Please note that lunchtime clubs do not need to be signed up for and are not included on Arbor. Teachers running lunchtime clubs will ask the children to sign up independently (Years 3 – 6) or with assistance (Years 1-2) and the relevant teacher will let the child know if they have a place in the club.
